Why he became a financial advisor Although it may seem ridiculous, Mike knew he wanted to be a financial advisor by age 10. Seriously, ask any of his family members or close friends! As a child, the idea of being able to invest in a company like McDonalds (instead of just being a customer) was fascinating to Mike. He could make money while the world was buying Happy Meals, amazing.
His Hero Not surprisingly, one of Mike’s heros has always been the great Warren Buffet. Coincidentally, he and Warren were born on the same day, August 30th. Warren’s authenticity, straightforward approach, and passion for investing were appealing to Mike, and many feel he shares those same qualities. Whenenver the financial world seems to be falling appart, Warren’s appeal to principal and reason make him one of the greatest investors of all time.
